Saw this fb post earlier and I feel the need to share. We’re barely a month into 2020 and there are already so many problems happening around the world. With the heartbreaking fires in Aussie, floods in Indo, and now the coronavirus outbreak that have affected thousands of people. It’s concerning, yet it isn’t a time to divide but to come together instead. If you’re afraid and worried, I can’t imagine what’s it like for the people in China right now. You’re probably thinking, if we can’t even help ourselves, how do we care for others? I think we can all play our part by trying to make sure we’re not spreading false information and to put a stop to all the generalisation.

It's like driving past a road accident; instead of watching and taking down car number plates for a lottery or trying to speculate who was at fault, you can stop your car to help or move forward to prevent a traffic congestion.

There are certain practices and habits I don’t agree with, but not everyone who contracted the disease/have passed on from it, actually indulged/participated in any of these.

So instead of standing on the sidelines and making hateful comments, I only beg for your empathy and I hope that we can all come out of this together. This can happen to anyone and it could happen to you tomorrow. So please, help if you can.

Stay safe, hygienic and alert 🖤
